Introducing the new Prada Inside Bag

Introducing the new Prada Inside Bag

Printemps turns into "Printemps Palace"

This summer, until August 22, French art de vivre is at the heart of an exceptional shopping experience at Printemps. While celebrating its
150th anniversary, the department store asked the renowned British photographer Steve Hiett to capture the essence of four legendary Parisian luxury hotels: Le Bristol Paris, Le Meurice, Hôtel Plaza Athénée and Le Royal Monceau- Raffles Paris. A bold display enhanced by the silhouettes of nine prestigious brands: Alberta Ferretti, Alexandre Vauthier, Burberry, Elie Saab, Roberto Cavalli, Lanvin, The Row, Sonia Rykiel and Thierry Mugler.

Chatterbox new from Mr Jones Watches

Hello Angel News Luxury
Today we have releasing Chatterbox, a collaboration with the artist and illustrator Fernando Volken Togni. The design is a glimpse into Fernando's vivid, surreal imagination. In his own words it's, "an organised chaos of talkative creatures, natural forms and vibrant colours that combine to create an energetic, unique timepiece."
We produced Chatterbox in our London workshop in an edition of 100 pieces, with each watch numbered on the back of the case. The watch is available now from Mr Jones Watches priced £195 (approximately US$260 / Euro265)
Please get in touch if you'd like further information and additional images.

This watch is Dadaist in it’s juxtaposition of motifs, symbols and characters. It flouts conventional aesthetics to show you the time - one of the characters shows you the hour in his open mouth, while the minutes pass through a mysterious eye at the bottom of the dial.
This watch was produced in our London workshop. We printed all the components and assembled and regulated each watch by hand. It's probably the most technically challenging design we've ever worked on. The number of colours on the glass meant that we had to be vigilant throughout to make sure one misaligned print didn't wreck hours of work!

Fernando Volken Togni is half German and half Italian and was born in Roca Sales, a small town in the lush Taquari Valley in Southern Brazil. He graduated in Social Communication/Advertising and worked for several years as a graphic designer and art director in advertising agencies. Working with branding and packaging design, Fernando discovered his passion for geometrical shapes and started working as a professional illustrator.

At present he is based in London and works to create illustrations for books, magazines, advertising campaigns, products and spaces. His bubbly illustrations represent daily life with precise attention to details and bold use of colour.

MYKITA + Maison Margiela | RAW

MYKITA + MAISON MARGIELA RAW

RAW is the latest collection to emerge from the MYKITA + Maison Margiela collaboration. Raw and unpolished acetate frames are removed at an early stage in the production process. This deliberate interruption creates an aesthetic all its own, one which reveals the traces of modern technology and creates a contrast between classic form and fragmented exterior. Sophisticated bevelled edges make a distinctive feature of the temples and frame front while making the raw structure wearable.

Available as sunglasses or prescription frames, the RAW models come in Raw Taupe, Raw Ruby, Ray Peridot and Raw Black.

KXG AT CREATIVE DOOR

From within an open air temple in Indonesia, the KXG Atelier embodies a sense of timeless intensity.
Of tropical density, richly perfumed with incense rituals - the elements abound in a deep breath of creation.

Australian natives Katharine Grace and Krishna Godhead reconnected in this place of
practiced serenity creating both a pantheon and a sanctuary on their new island home.

Together it is art they produce in their peaceful solitude.

Grace has designed globally for private clients for over 6 years, her ethereal beauty a striking
muse in the relentless Indonesian elements. Godhead is a prolific international fashion
photographer, creative entity and artist. After many years of working at the crest
of the fashion industry, he operates now as a fever of art and creation, carnal with his environment,
relinquished of all personal possessions.

Together Grace and Godhead have built a partnership dressing devoted clients.

The birth of the duo’s first Artisanal collection, KXG 01, resulted in a dance of Shaman and Muse,
partners and antithesis - both living extensions of one another, linking “woman” to a state of nature.

The KXG 01 Artisanal collection was presented in Paris, in late 2014, shown as part
of a ritualistic dressing ceremony conducted by the designers themselves.
Godhead dressing Grace. In Paris, the designers invited a European audience
to witness this ceremony of savage extravagance.

All chosen materials are sourced and fabricated within Indonesia - materializing from hand
dyed raw fabrics, artisanal carving, traditional printing, embroidery and exotic skins.

Godhead’s dense knowledge and experience in luxury fashion and international references
can be seen within the skill level of the collection. Now removed from an opulent world
this wisdom becomes calm, a simplified yet extravagant vision.

Detailed corsetry, deconstructed tailoring and organic drapery has been crafted directly to
Grace’s ribcage. In this role she is both creator and muse, reflecting the feminine and the flesh.

There is no clearer evidence of this affinity between the designers, than from the imagery they
produce together. Godhead records Graces image in the clothes throughout all stages of development,
transporting the viewer through a tangible need to explore the understanding of identity.
Thus permitting the curious to appreciate the collection through the eyes of its creators.

Authentic beasts in contemporary opulence.

Women on URWERK's journey - Episode 4

At URWERK we control the production of each of our watches from the initial sketch to the final assembly. We manufacture, build, decorate, polish and test each of our watches one by one. Then comes the time when it leaves the workshops to be put into the hands of our friends who take it on the journey to the wrist of a collector. These friendly hands are those of our retail partners — our worldwide representatives and valued ambassadors. We have chosen them as much as they have chosen us. In Moscow, the friendly hands are accompanied by the smile of Elena Ivanova.
