Record number confirm for Singapore Yacht Show 2016 It has been a busy time in the months following the fifth edition of the Singapore Yacht Show, as exhibitors confirm their participation at next year’s event, to be held 7-10 April 2016. The number of 2015’s exhibitors to sign up for the next edition of the Show has been greater than ever before. Those already confirmed to make a reappearace include local players Reel Torque, Hong Seh, Simpson Marine and Asia Pacific Superyachts, as well as international marine brands Grand Banks, Princess Yachts, Gulf Craft, Westport, Heesen Yachts and Lürssen. Complementary service providers and manufacturers also returning include Dassault Falcon, U-Boat Worx, Markagain, AXA and Prudential, along with a number of other suppliers, interior designers and boat designers. The organisers of the Show have worked with clients’ feedback to enhance its proposition for 2016, including a newly conceived, separate brokerage section for pre-owned boats, and a pavilion layout that leads visitors through the journey of purchasing and owning a boat or yacht. A new Brokerage section has been requested by several key industry players, and is open for professional brokers to present pre-owned yachts and boats which are either less than 5 years old, over 40ft in length, or have a minimum value of $250,000.
